Hiltons Global is a full-service engineering company specialized in the design of fluid transport systems conducted through long distance pipelines, from the mine sites and processing plants to the final product point of delivery.

The company was established in the year 2000 in San Ramon, California, USA, principally oriented towards providing high quality design engineering and services to the mining industry.

The transport of ore, concentrate, tailings, water, chemicals, raffinates, and acids has been our core focus. We have earned our experience in designing long distance pipeline systems directly from the field, located in extreme and harsh environmental conditions, from the frozen tundra of Alaska and Greenland to the arid mountainous Atacama Desert of Chile, to the Amazon rainforests of Brazil. We take exceptional pride in both our work success and the relationships we have cultivated with our clients.

In addition, Hiltons Global has expanded to include work on numerous mineral processing plant projects in recent years, actively taking on comprehensive mining projects from the initial point of extraction and processing to the port of delivery). Lastly, Hiltons Global has strongly been integrally and actively involved in the vastly growing business of major desalination projects which aim to greatly serve both the industry and communities alike.

Hiltons GLobal has completed several major pipeline projects for the mining industry worldwide. The projects completed included front end loading (FEL) studies to the development of detailed engineering. Minerals transported includes copper, iron, bauxite, slurry, nickel, phosphate and coal. For long distance water transport Hiltons Global has also engineered high pressure pipeline transportation system for seawater, desalinated water, and high saline solutions.

Hiltons Global has carried out designs in all the engineering phases for minerals plants beneficiation and concentration  such as iron, gold, copper, zinc, lead, tin and niobium, among others; In which Hiltons Global professionals have been involved since the primary stages of definition, monitoring and supervision of laboratory tests (pilot scale tests), as well as in the determination of the route of the mineral process, definition of extraction method and comparative studies (trade Offs) between the use of different technologies for grinding stage.  All engineering developments are carried out in 3D BIM tools,  with that the client can obtain a complete product that is easily integrable with other existing or planned installations.

Throughout the useful life of the fluid transport systems, various types of failure events have been recorded both in the pipeline and in the stations, which have generated a great impact on the business.

HIltons Global has developed an integrity asset management system focused on mining pipelines which aim to systematize and coordinate the operational and maintenance procedures of the mining pipelines, concentrate pipelines, tailings pipelines, and long-distance water pipelines to ensure operational continuity, efficiently managing risk, and the probability of failure, impacts, and consequences.
